Ready-Call Meals
Our volunteers will still be delivering hot mid-day meals on Mondays and
Thursdays during June, to which we have added some little treats. If you know
of anyone from Brenchley or Matfield who would like to have a meal delivered,
please let us know. Our local volunteers carry ID.
Brenchley and Matfield Food Bank
Food donations are stored at The Star Inn for the benefit of local residents. If
you know of anyone who is in need of emergency food supplies, we can put
together a suitable box and deliver if you are unable to leave home. This Food
Bank is completely confidential and requires no benefits’ certificates etc.

MATFIELD HELP HUB
D
uring the coronavirus crisis a group of your neighbours have offered their
services to anyone that needs to self-isolate and cannot leave home. If you
need any essential items from the shops (or even prescriptions) we are more
than happy to help if we can.
If you are able to donate suitable food or toiletry items, these would be
gratefully received and the drop off point is The Star, Matfield. These will be
distributed to anyone in genuine need of food or other essentials. Please
reach out if you need emergency supplies.
To keep things simple, Jay from The Star has kindly offered her telephone
number for you to call with any requests. If you leave your name, number and
what you need, she will then pass on your message to the group of volunteers,
who will be in contact to lend a hand. The telephone number for The Star:
01892 725 458 (10.00am to 6pm).
Warm regards,
The Matfield Facebook group.
