Schools & Youth
The PlasticBlitz is a great opportunity for Clubs to get
involved with the younger generation and help them
protect their future. Invite schools and youth groups to
work with you as soon as possible. The PlasticBlitz is
part of an ongoing EU scienti昀椀c study and as such is an
eligible project for many community credits including
the Duke of Edinburgh award.
A quali昀椀ed teacher / youth leader / parent must be
ultimatly responsible for children working with Rotary
Clubs on the PlasticBlitz. For schools and youth groups
H&S will be covered in the group’s own risk assesment /
insurance. Parents working with a Rotary Club will be
covered under Rotary insurance.
