How Can Rotarians Help?
Encourage student-led initiatives – Instead of just
presenting to students, give them the training and tools
to make their own environmental presentations.
Support Eco Clubs – Help set up or strengthen existing
Eco Clubs in schools to promote sustainability.
Organize Competitions – Challenge students to design
posters for rubbish bins (which Rotary could donate) or
create anti-littering campaigns and adverts.
Hands-on Participation – Get students actively
involved in the PlasticBlitz and other
environmental projects in their communities.
To make a real impact, we need full cooperation
from schools and their leadership. Let’s work
together to turn awareness into action—one school
at a time!
Engaging with schools
The Rotary Club of Henley ran
a poster competition in a local
school. The winning posters
were printed and the club
presented bins to the school
to put them on.
