Congratulations 1090
Let9s Celebrate!
I found olming the video you have just seen with Kate
incredibly diïcult; I can't even try to imagine what it was like
for Kate.
Kate called me from Devon shortly aÿer she had the news of
her brother9s death - she was devastated. Kate has aÿended a
TVAA CPR 8bystander9 training course, so it was even more
painful to know that nobody was able to give CPR to her
brother.
Kate asked me if I would make this video in the hope that
other families could be saved from experiencing her grief.
Kate and I talked at length about what she was going to say,
but when it came to olming Kate produced a 8one-take straight
from the heart9.
Please read Peter's story on the TVAA link on the next page.
Peter's story shows that lives can be saved.
Please get your club, friends and family 8bystander9 trained.
Remember, even if you don't have the physical ability to
perform CPR, if you have the knowledge you could instruct
another 8bystander9 in an emergency. Once you feel conodent
with the training, please consider geÿng your community
involved ofering CPR 8bystander9 training sessions on a
regular basis. Other clubs are already working on an on-going
programme, It doesn't cost us and it's a fantasÿc service for
Rotary to ofer to the community.
