2025 Central West Festival of Bridge - a Gold Point event - Magazine - Page 12
GENERAL SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR
ENJOYMENT!
In planning (particularly accommodation) for next April why not
consider making a real break of it and visit Orange Food Week which
concludes a few days before our event. Check it out here Home | Food
Of Orange District (orangefoodweek.com.au). In between, a day trip to
the beautiful the Japanese Gardens at Cowra would get you in the
mood for playing some great Bridge at the 2025 CWF Gold.
LIVE LIKE LOCALS
Welcome to Orange,
We hope you enjoy your stay here and have a chance to take the
opportunity to explore our town and surroundings. Our local Visitor
Information Centre at 151 Byng St. offers multiple suggestions of
activities to entertain you. They will also tell you about walking and
cycling around the area and about tours to farms and vineyards. When
you visit have a look at the Information Centre building with its sloping
lawn roof designed for children (and intrepid adults) to roll down! You
can reach the roof top via the steps, or find the lift hidden around the
corner. It is located in our cultural hub with the Museum, the Art Gallery,
Library and Theatre right on the spot. Soon the building of the
Conservatorium and Planetarium will be finished to complete an exciting
precinct.
We think you may enjoy the following experiences. Look on the internet
for more detailed information and bookings. Very approximate walking
times are noted in bold.
