8. Sustainability Goals

Increase the engagement of our people
Increase diversity to fuel our innovation
Increase water-use efficiency by reusing wastewater in our
wash bays
Increase energy efficiency by share of renewable energy in
our buildings
Reduce the number of lost time injuries from accidents
Increase resource efficiency by electrification and use of
renewable energy sources
Reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction,
recycling and reuse
Riwal aligns its sustainability goals with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As part of the 2030
roadmap, we will be focusing our attention on 7 goals and within each goal, we will have specific targets.
In 2021, we will be building up on those targets, developing more quantifiable objectives and specific
actions to make these goals more concrete.
