QR Scanner
feature (All)
The QR scanner functionality has been added to MyRiwal App. Through this new
feature, customers can scan the QR sticker on their machine and navigate directly
to the rental detail page. They can thus easily find documentation (such as machine
specifications or inspection sheets), off-rent the machine or digitally report a
breakdown. This feature allows for safer work and more efficient and fast service for
our customers. In practice, check out how it works!

Our digital team is constantly working on improvements to our MyRiwal App based on
the feedback of customers. Version 3.0 will be launched in 2024 with improvements
to alerts, CO2 reporting and real-time insights.
‘’Lifting Trust’’Ethics training (All)
Following last year’s employee training on topics related to ethics, whistleblowing, and
workplace harassment; we introduced targeted training on corruption and bribery.
All employees who interact with customers or suppliers were requested to follow
these training. We believe this mandatory training would give all our employees the
tools to recognize unethical situations and to react properly.

education
On a yearly basis, all employees receive Security Awareness training, mostly focused
on Phishing awareness. The completion rate is 85%.

We believe in fostering the right culture and proper processes for us to serve our
customers better and to grow and sustain our business.
In the Netherlands, we have been certified with the Safety Culture Ladder Level 3, which
focuses on safety at work. With an impressive score of 96 out of 100 points, we can
proudly say that we reached good safety awareness in our Dutch entity which would
reflect in our value adding service.

In the UAE, we have received the IPAF Rental + certification which is the highest
standard in Powered Access Equipment Hire. We have
successfully fulfilled the
evaluation criteria based on 70 audit points which include Finance, Health & Safety,
Environmental, and Quality.
Sustainabilitylinked loan
As of 2022, we entered into a sustainability linked loan. This provides Riwal with the
opportunity to attach its sustainability objectives to its financing conditions. It encourages us to set more bold targets and put additional efforts to meet them. The financial
benefit that we will receive from meeting the loan requirements will be used in further
sustainable initiatives and investments.
