HOT WORK
By “Hot Work” we mean welding, roofing, angle grinding, heating, soldering, drying, weed burning
and other work, where you operate with heat-developing tools in relation to machine assembly,
alterations to and extensions of buildings, modernisations, maintenance work, repair work, etc. Hot
Work includes all work where there is a risk of igniting building parts and the like, or when working
with tools that generate heat and where there is a risk of ignition.
This is a customer-specific course, adapted to meet each customer's specific needs and challenges.
Our Hot Work certificate is valid for 2 years; though, no DBI certificate will be issued for this course.
Upon course completion the student will, amongst other things, have acquired theoretical and
practical competencies within the areas of:

Insurance conditions and legislation
Fire fighting theory
Relevant aspects of construction conditions
Pressure cylinders
Hand-held extinguishing equipment
Extinguishing methods/exercises
Areas at particular risks for fire ignition
