Can I live in my apartment for only part of the year?
Of course. We recognise the importance of 昀氀exibility. At Riverstone, we make sure your
apartment is looked after and kept safe and secure whilst you’re away. However, you’re
not allowed to leave the apartment empty for more than 12 consecutive months.

Can I take out a mortgage to buy the apartment?
Our lease does allow you to take out a mortgage when you buy the apartment.
Our lease limits the amount you can borrow up to a maximum of 60% of the value of
the property.
If you do decide to take out a mortgage you will need to arrange this yourself and we
strongly recommend you get independent 昀椀nancial advice about the mortgage. This is
to make sure you know you can a昀昀ord the mortgage repayments as well as the other
amounts you pay under the lease.
