Is Riverstone a care home?
No, Riverstone is not a care home. And choosing to live at Riverstone means that you
should hopefully never need to move into a care home. Our unique Wellbeing service
supports you to stay strong as you age – with the aim of adding life to your years - and
also means that you are less likely to need personal care than if you’d stayed in your
previous house.
Even if you do need to have a signi昀椀cant amount of support and care, all of this can
be provided at Riverstone. You can stay living in your own apartment, and remain part
of your community. This is why we work with a number of respected nursing and home
care providers, including The Good Care Group, to make sure that any needs you
have can be supported. Our wellbeing team would work with you and your family to
set up the exact package you need. Despite this, however, there might be exceptional
circumstances when care at home will not ensure your safety and wellbeing at
Riverstone. With the support our partners can o昀昀er, we believe that this should rarely
happen but if it does, Riverstone will work with you and the people that matter to you to
昀椀nd a solution that is in your best interests.
