• Despite ongoing blackouts, air raid alarms, and
continued displacement, the Rise Ukraine team
continues to innovate, adapt, and expand its
program network, providing joy, learning, and
laughter for everyone it serves.
Expanded from 8 learning spaces to 73 across
10 regions, becoming a beacon of hope for
children in the midst of war, with headquarters in
Lviv in western Ukraine.
G L OBAL HIGHLIGHTS
Evidence-based guided play activities focus on
emotional stability, social reconnection, and cognitive
development, even amidst ongoing trauma. Rise
Ukraine also developed a specialized version of our Birth
to 3 program to help mothers better connect with their
children and receive the social and emotional support
they require.
