• Improved academic performance and
developmental milestones for children, disrupting
cycles of poverty and inequality.
Based in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Rise Bulgaria
trains teachers throughout the country. It particularly
focuses on marginalized communities, including
Roma populations and rural areas.
• Created innovative and beneficial partnerships with
local toy companies and global NGOs to enhance
the educational value of toys in rural and low-income
areas.
• Co-hosted the ISSA conference in Sofia, which
is Europe’s largest community of experts and
practitioners in early childhood development.
