DEAR SUPPORTERS,
As I reflect on my first year in this role, I am filled with gratitude for the
global community that enables us to transform the lives of children
in need. From classrooms in the United States to the specialized
camp experiences in Haiti, Ethiopia, Ukraine, and Vietnam, your
unwavering support has turned dreams into reality for children and
families facing unimaginable challenges.
This year, we’ve added two new country programs, all while
navigating war, gang violence, economic hardship, and societal
marginalization. Through it all, we championed community-driven
solutions and have witnessed profound hope and the unyielding
strength of the families we serve.
It's a reminder that every positive
action creates a ripple effect in building
a more inclusive and equitable world.
I am incredibly proud of our new name and brand. Rise Alliance for
Children takes all of the learning and best practices that Worldwide
Orphans (WWO) honed over the last 28 years while reaffirming our
commitment to help all children navigate adversity and rise above it.
This is just the beginning. With your partnership, we are on track to
meet our goal of transforming the lives of 100,000 children each year,
and more than one million since our founding. 2025 will undoubtedly
be a pivotal year in ensuring we have the infrastructure in place to
grow rapidly while maintaining the high-quality programming we are
known for.
