Sjt Neary joined the Army in October
1998. He completed his training in
Winchester and Catterick before
Joining 2 Royal Green Jackets in
Germany. Throughout his career, he
has been based in various places,
such as: Northern Ireland, Kenya
and Warminster. He has also been
deployed on several operational
tours, which include: Bosnia, Kosovo,
Afghanistan and Northern Ireland.
Whilst being employed in a wide
range of roles throughout his career
he has accumulated an array of
qualifications to help him support the
Regiment.

David Crossley joined Full Time
Reserve Service in May 2019 after a
regular career lasting 23 years. He
joined 2RGJ in 1996 and his final
regular posting was RQMS 4 RIFLES,
based in Aldershot. Returning to his
home town, David joined the Reserve
as a Serjeant and serves with NW
CTT based at Altcar Rifle Range in
Hightown. He is the RIFLES link with
the North West Branch of the Royal
Green Jackets Association.
