PRE-MEDICINE
For children aged 13-17*
Camp fee from £950 per week, per child.
About this camp
We motivate students to develop their understanding of
medicine while having fun. We stimulate students to interact
with medical doctors and students of medicine and ask
questions about what is like to study medicine and be a
medical doctor. We teach students how to identify a problem
and look for a solution.
Our face-to-face Pre-Medicine summer camp groups are small
to enable tutors and students to have a greater scope for
interaction, dialogue, questions and answers.
Topics include:
Introduction to Medical School Circulation, Breathing,
The Defence System Genetics and Cancer, Clinical skills
Regenerative Medicine, Public Health Anatomy
Microbiology, Emergency Medicine, Personal and
Professional Development, Mental Health, Surgical Skills
Psychiatry, Life Cycle, Neuroscience Musculoskeletal Biology,
Endocrinology Metabolism.
