FOOD BANK DONATIONS
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
We are proud to donate food to local
food banks, addressing food insecurity
and ensuring that nutritious meals
reach those who need them most. Our
contributions are part of a broader effort
to participate in and support community
initiatives, working hand-in-hand with local
organizations to create meaningful change.
In a testament to our commitment to
both our communities and our valued
employees, we proudly awarded six $5,000
scholarships in 2023 to deserving recipients.
These scholarships were designated for the
children of our dedicated workforce to
reflect our support for their educational
pursuits and future endeavors. By
investing in the academic aspirations of
our employees' families, we aim to foster
a culture of growth, opportunity, and
prosperity within our Reser's family and
the communities we serve.
In 2023, we donated close to 1.5 million
pounds of product to food banks or
about $1.6 million to local groups. By
redistributing surplus food, we help
reduce waste and promote sustainability,
reinforcing our efforts towards
environmental stewardship. Through
these efforts, we strive to build stronger,
healthier communities and contribute to a
more sustainable future for all.
DOLLARS FOR DOERS
Our Dollars for Doers program encourages
employee volunteerism in local non-profit
organizations. In this program, Reser’s
donates up to $200 in the employee’s
name to the organization where an
employee chooses to volunteer for a
minimum of 20 hours.
COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS
Communities in Schools is a non-profit
organization we support that focuses on
the immediate challenges facing students,
especially those at risk of dropping out
of school. They empower students to
overcome personal challenges and barriers
that hold them from success.
