Reducing
Our Emissions
Trucks
One project we undertook in 2023 related to reducing our
emissions was to upgrade our trucking fleet. We purchased
20 new trucks and brought our fleet into 80% compliance
for 2025 emissions regulations with plans to reach 100% by
the end of 2024. We also upgraded 15 of our routes trucks
to use electric powered cold plate boxes rather than diesel
powered reefer trailers.
This is just one step we are taking towards making our value
chain more sustainable. As technology improves and we have
the capacity, we will continue to upgrade and optimize our
equipment.
