Telehealth in Australia has seen significant growth in recent years, driven by the need for accessible
and convenient healthcare services in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape during COVID.
Telehealth refers to the delivery of healthcare services through remote means, such as video
conferencing or online consultations. It has been a valuable tool in the fight against COVID, reducing
the exposure of patients and medical practitioners to the virus. It now has the potential to improve
access to healthcare services for people in remote or underserved areas, and make healthcare more
accessible and convenient for everyone.
