Hunter Adams is a student at Lakeland Christian School in Lakeland, Florida.
When he was in 5th grade, the students were given an assignment to take a
bare book and write and illustrate a story. The only requirement was that the
story had to have a surprise ending.
A Special Jake is Hunter’s story inspired by a class of students with special needs
at Lakeland Christian School. Hunter worked in the classroom as a teacher
assistant during free periods.
Hunter is now in 9th grade and he loves cars, running, skim boarding and
football. He continues to help children through volunteer and missionary work.
