ISSUE NO.13 SUMMER 2024 | WEST KENT NEWS 7
ASSISTANT PROVINCIAL
GRAND MASTER:
ANDREW WADDINGTON
Brethren,
With summer now here, on occasion,
we can look forward to that wellearned break. Well most of us. The
Executive and Provincial Office Staff
will still be working behind the scenes
to enable the Province to be well
represented and our administration
dealt with.
Many Group 2 Lodges will be closing
down over the summer months and I
wish you all a very pleasant time to
enjoy holidays, family occasions and
the chance to recharge and come
back afterwards raring to go. It may
also be the time to host social events
and invite non-Masons or potential
joining and re-joining members to
participate.
For those of you in Lodges that carry
out administrative tasks please
continue to carry out your allotted
tasks in a timely fashion. To coin a
phrase. It will help Provincial Office
out no end.
If you have any Initiations, Passings
or Raisings that still have to be
notified or Installation or Grand Lodge
Annual Returns please submit them
without further delay. Thank you.
Over that past few months, I have
been lucky to attend some wonderful
meetings not least to present 50th
Long Service Citations and witness
degree ceremonies. It is always great
to see a Lodge performing to its
fullest potential or, a well-earned
accolade awarded.
I also had the pleasure of attending
Provincial Grand Lodge on 14th June at
Freemasons Hall.
What a fantastic meeting. It was
extremely gratifying to see amongst the
very worthy recipients of Provincial
appointments and promotions many
Group 2 Brethren. Many of them in key
active Offices within Provincial Grand
Lodge. A great way to spend my 61st
Birthday.
