GENERAL NEWS
MESSAGE FROM THE
COMMUNICATIONS TEAM:
Gordon Rollo
Brethren and Companions,
Our
communications
team
continues to work diligently to
ensure that our messages to the
Province are clear, timely, and
impactful. As a dedicated but
small team, we are always on the
lookout for enthusiastic volunteers
to
help
us
elevate
our
communications efforts to new
heights. If you have the time and
passion for contributing to our
cause,
please
email
us
at
PCO@westkentmasons.org.uk.
We would love to discuss how
your skills and enthusiasm can
add value to our team.
We have been truly inspired by the
incredible stories of charitable
activities
emerging
from
our
Lodges and Chapters. These
stories reflect the heart and soul
of Freemasonry and deserve to be
shared with the broader public.
Our aim is to promote these
uplifting narratives through our
social media channels and local
press
outlets.
If
you
have
participated in or know of any
activities that shine a positive light
on Freemasonry, please share the
details, along with any photos or
videos, by sending them to
PCO@westkentmasons.org.uk.
Maintaining a robust social media
presence
is
essential
for
promoting the craft, particularly in
West Kent. We take immense
pride in our Province being
recognized as a leader in social
media engagement among the
Provinces. This achievement is a

testament to the dedication and
creativity of our team, and with your
support, we aim to continue setting
the standard.
Our external events team has
excelled this year, successfully
attending four events, garnering
some strong membership inquiries,
distributing information leaflets, and
engaging the public to dispel
lingering myths about Freemasonry.
We have four more exciting events
lined up for the remainder of the
year:
Saturday, 29th June at Biggin
Hill Carnival
Monday, 26th August at Cudham
Village Fair
Sunday, 15th September at
Riverhead Carnival
Sunday, 24th November at
Tonbridge Christmas Festival
Additionally,
we
will
proudly
participate in the Remembrance
Sunday parades and services,
honoring those who made the
ultimate sacrifice. Your continued
support
at
these
events
is
invaluable, whether you come to
assist or simply stop by to greet the
team - if you would like to be
involved
directly
please
email
Events@westkentmasons.org.uk
I am immensely proud to be part of
this dynamic team. With the
unwavering support of our Lodges
and Chapters, sharing their success
stories, and ensuring our members
are
informed
about
upcoming
notices and activities, we can
continue to grow stronger together.
Let’s
keep
building
on
our
successes.
Thank you for your dedication and
support.
Fraternally,
Gordon Rollo
Assistant Provincial
Communications Officer
