ISSUE NO.13 SUMMER 2024 | WEST KENT NEWS
Brethren, if your lodge has not already done so, I
give it to you in the strongest terms of
recommendation to adopt the resources contained
within the Members’ Pathway to underpin and
safeguard the future of your lodge that we all
move forward together as a vibrant and growing
province.
The membership and the future of our lodges is all
of our concern so please attend these sessions
where the provincial team can facilitate getting to
the bone and marrow of the challenges
experienced within your respective lodges. We
know that success does not just happen, and that
Lodges need to plan for their future. The
Members’ Pathway provides a beneficial toolkit to
aid lodges to plan and take charge of their future.
The seminar aims to highlight practical steps in
making the lodge experience more rewarding,
purposeful and fun, with the overarching aim to aid
engagement, retention and retrieval of members;
by better aligning the lodge activities with both
their aspirations and expectations.
We continue to have a gentle stream of external
applicants into the Province which are managed
by the Provincial Membership Team. As a gentle
reminder, being aligned as a lodge to the
members’ Pathway is one of prerequisites for a
lodge to be considered for the placement of
unsponsored external applicants. It is our desire to
be in a position as a Province where EVERY lodge
is considered suitable for placement of external
applicants. Lodges wishing to position themselves
to be best placed to receive these potential
candidates are encouraged to work in partnership
with the provincial membership team to establish
the requisite processes and practices essential for
consideration.
We hold faith in the cooperation of each and every
one of you to be a leading example within your
respective lodges. To unite your endeavours in the
delivery of our vision for a Province that it is
happy, vibrant and growing, that will continue to
be a source of pride and pleasure to its members
for many years to come.
