Number of Unsafe, Unsanitary Homes
The number and percentage of occupied housing units without
plumbing are shown for the report area. U.S. Census data shows
373 housing units in the report area were without plumbing in
2000 and ACS 5-year estimates show 375 housing units in the
report area were without plumbing in 2019.
Point in Time Homeless
Point0in0time counts (collected January 28, 2021) by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) Continuum of Care Assistance Programs.
In 2021, HUD gave communities the option to cancel or modify the unsheltered survey portion of their counts
based on the potential risk of COVID019 transmission associated with conducting an in 0person survey. As a
result, HUD has excluded the unsheltered population sub0totals and all unsheltered sub0population data for
this reporting period. The user is cautioned that the unsheltered and total homeless counts reported here
may be missing data.
This indicator section has been broken into three different tables: 1.) both households and per person
counts (no data available), 2.) traditional housing homeless and 3.) emergency shelter homeless.
