Table 16, again we see that, as a group, children are more likely to be in households with fewer resources
than the population as a whole. New York children had higher rates of households that were rentburdened (paying more than a third of income on housing) and had household income below the ALICE
threshold. Based on the data in Table 15, ALICE rates in Steuben and Yates Counties are somewhat lower
than for the state as a whole.
