▪ I think keeping the virtual option. Some families are more open to not having someone in their space
or maybe even making it more flexible for the provider and family to have that option.
▪ I think there is a place for offering some services remotely. Working people and people with
transportation issues may have a great challenge in coming to face-to-face appointments.
▪ With gas prices being so high I think it would be beneficial to allow customers to access services by
phone/remotely whenever possible.
▪ Keep the efficiencies built from the use of technology to eliminate in-person visits when they aren't
necessary (or give people the option) Only require in-person when needed such as for WIC clients
once a year when they need heights and measures on the children.
▪ Keep utilizing Zoom for meetings, especially those that would typically require travel, and do one or
two in-person special meets per year, or whatever is appropriate.
▪ Utilizing technology more has been a positive change for many families. Families often struggle with
transportation barriers. By offering services through technology families can receive the support that
they need.
▪ Virtual access to programs we offer in order to complete applications and gain access to services they
might not otherwise have.
▪ We have provided some services remotely, i.e., parent education, community cafés, parent leadership
meetings that we will continue to offer when it reduces barriers to participation. Use of social media,
which increased during the pandemic, is a platform we will continue to utilize.
▪ Options, some people have only ever gotten virtual services, be aware that some might drop services
because they are scared to have them in-person.
▪ In-person, direct services are needed for all ages. People are social creatures and need social
interaction to live healthy lives.
▪ The home visits in person should be kept in place with changes in safety if needed, like masks, but I do
think that [having] in-person visits with our families is very important.
▪ What I often hear has been successful is remote/online services or "telehealth." This is certainly a
delivery method that eliminates transportation barriers and, for some services some of the time, it is
suitable. But our direct service workers tend to think that level of engagement suffers.
▪ Families may not always have the resources or knowledge for virtual meetings.
