These activities will help you explore the use
of your heritage language in working life.

A heritage language is a language learned by its speakers
at home as children (not English or Irish). Ireland is a
diverse country where many languages are spoken.
It is important to maintain one’s heritage language for
identity and culture. Heritage languages are also very useful
in the world of work: dealing with customers
and clients no matter where you work.
