So many Leaving Cert
Languages to choose from
You can now study Mandarin Chinese for
the Leaving Cert. Polish, Portuguese and
Lithuanian are also curricular subjects now.
This means that there is an aural, oral
and written exam. All of these language
subjects count towards Third Level entry
requirements.
Leaving Cert
Language Classes
Languages Connect/PPLI offer a wide range
of Leaving Cert Classes in languages that
may not be available to study in your school
– Chinese, Japanese, Lithuanian, Romanian,
Polish, Portuguese, Russian. These classes
are fully funded by the Department of
Education and are held at various locations
