Breakfast (Frühstück) is one of the most important meals of the day in Germany and traditionally
consists of a warm beverage and cereal or fresh bread with either jam, chocolate spread or cheese.
Snacking in Germany is quite popular with a mid-morning snack eaten before it's time for
lunch (Mittagessen). Usually after lunch some cake is enjoyed as an afternoon snack.
