Explain the introductory activity to students, as detailed in the slide itself.
Students should work in groups to organise the classroom utterances into three separate categories. The
names of the categories are not communicated to the students, but they should give each group a title
themselves, according to what they think the utterances represent.
This activity is to introduce students to the language triptych but will not do so explicitly.
Choose one person from each table before the activity/discussion has finished to feedback to the class.
