Zach Lund is an Olympian and World Champion in the sport of Skeleton.
He competed in the sport of Skeleton for fifteen years and won over
twenty World Cup and World Championship medals in that time. After
retiring from competing, Zach went on to coach the U.S. National
Skeleton Team for six years, during which time he helped his team win
multiple Olympic, World Championship, and World Cup medals.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He and his partner Brandy have three
daughters ages eight, ten, and seventeen. His passions include flying
(small aircraft), hiking, camping, exercise, home improvement, non-profit
work, and playing sports.
He is currently living in Portland, Oregon, where he moved to start what
has turned out to be a very successful career as a Craniomaxillofacial
(CMF) medical device rep for Stryker. In his short three-year career with
Stryker, he has already received many accolades for his many successes,
including closing the largest sternal closure contract in the history of
Stryker CMF, which is a Fortune 500 company.
Zach has a bachelor's degree in Aviation Business Management from
Westminster College and an MBA in Human Resource Management from
Keller University. Stemming from losing his mother to cancer when he
was young, one of Zach’s passions is working with non-profits that
provide grief support to children who have also lost parents or siblings.
He has served on the Board of Directors for The Sharing Place, a nonprofit dedicated to grief support for children, and is also currently training
to work directly with providing grief support for children at a
non-profit called Dougy Center, located in Portland, Oregon.
