Grab your kids, runner friends or your wild and
wacky aunt and come walk, run or stroll through
the Historic District and the neighborhoods of the
Town at our annual Fighter 5K run! This event is
a fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer in
memory of Karen Durbin.
CHRISTMAS IN NEW MARKET
Dec 7 | 1–5PM
Kick off your holiday season at our annual parade
and Candy Cane Lane Fair—a Christmas Market, free
activities for kids, food trucks, craft beer and wine
and free photos with the big guy himself! Finish the
evening at the lighting of the Town tree.
CATOCTIN COLORFEST

MAIN STREET ART & WINE STROLL

Meet over 20 local artists and artisans set up on
Main Street and inside of Main Street businesses.
Along your stroll you will experience sampling from
a variety of wineries, distilleries, and breweries.
Food Trucks too! Free event.
Oct 12 & 13 | 9AM–5PM
Catoctin Colorfest, in its 59th year, is one of the
largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast!
Colorfest is not just an event, but an experience!
Amazing crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, and variety of
delicious food throughout several blocks!
CHRISTMAS IN THURMONT

A fun-filled day for pictures with Santa, horse and
carriage rides, entertainment, a map stamping
event for adults, make and take Christmas crafts,
and prize drawings for children and adults.
