Brunswick
Right on the C&O Canal Towpath along the
Potomac River lies Brunswick. This city with
the charm of a small town is your starting
point for a day on the move.
Explore the Potomac River or C&O Canal
Towpath trail, then end the day with coffee
in a pre-WWI-era church or a beer in a
repurposed mid-century fire station. History
buffs and train lovers will appreciate the
1,700 square-foot HO scale model railroad
depicting the B&O from Brunswick to D.C. It’s
found, along with tableaus of turn-of-thecentury railroad town life, at the Brunswick
Heritage Museum.
