our diverse craft beverage landscape, the journey is part of the adventure.
BEER LOVERS TAKE NOTE
Music enthusiasts will get a kick
out of the beer names at Rockwell
Riverside—each one is named after
an artist, song title, or lyric. Grab a
round and jam out to live music in the
largest taproom in Frederick.
TRY CLASSIC COCKTAILS
WITH A TWIST
Grab a seat at the bar at Tenth Ward,
a woman-owned distillery in the heart
of Downtown Frederick. You can’t
go wrong here, whether you choose
from their year-round selection, order
a seasonal drink, or spring for the
cocktail flight. Need a nibble? Order
from Maxwell’s, the tasty burger
joint next door.
BE TRANSPORTED
TO THE CARIBBEAN
Spirit lovers won’t want to miss the
chance to try Pitorro, a moonshine
rum from Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico
Distillery uses a family recipe for
their Clandestino line of unfiltered
and flavored Pitorro. Sip the spirit
straight or mix it into one of your
favorite rum-based cocktails.
HOPS IN THE HILLS
For a brew with a view, branch out to
our gorgeous countryside breweries.
Meet the rare Leicester Longwool
sheep at Milkhouse Brewery,
Maryland’s first farm brewery, or
grab a glass at Red Shedman Farm
Brewery and Hop Yard settled on
over 200 rolling acres. From sunset
yoga to ax throwing, there’s always
something happening at Prospect
Point Brewing.
These are only a taste of the craft beverage locations Frederick has to offer.
