Led by an elected board, the Nacogdoches
County Hospital District manages sales tax
revenue generated to provide indigent care in our
community. Nacogdoches County Hospital District’s
outreach includes the Nacogdoches County EMS,
the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Foundation,
Nacogdoches County Healthcare Foundation,
the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Auxiliary,
Transportation Services and the Medical
Assistance Program.
Two ambulance substations are strategically
placed to reduce emergency response time to all
parts of the county.

Transportation within the county and transfer in or
out of county for doctor’s appointments, dialysis
treatment and much more.
Medical Assistance Program (MAP) provides
covered medical services to eligible low income
residents through local physicians, hospitals, and
other facilities.
