The Wedding of

Dear Plymouth Family,
Thank you for celebrating with us on our wedding day! Your
presence, love, and well wishes made our special day even more
special—we are thankful for this loving faith community, our
Plymouth family.
Some people thanked us for including them in our wedding. But
OF COURSE it would not have been the same without you!
When we started planning the wedding, we considered many
options:
• In Tennessee, where Chris grew up and his family resides?
• In Korea, where Sohee grew up and her family resides?
• Eloping for simplicity?
‘ Las Vegas (where our parents would meet for the first
time, in March 2024)
‘ Saint Simons Island, Georgia? (where Chris lived
before moving to Des Moines—and a great destination
wedding location)
But, without any doubt, we realized that Plymouth Church is
where we belong. The people of Plymouth Church have become
our family, the people who know us both, and the people with
whom we most wanted to share this special day in our lives.
How many weddings do you get to attend where everyone
knows both bride and groom? Where community is already
present? Where else could you feel like you have dozens of
surrogate parents in attendance? What a wonderful gift and a
beautiful memory we will always have of that day!
THANK YOU AGAIN for making our day complete with
your presence or with your lovely wishes (from those who could
not attend the ceremony). We received so much abundant love.
We know we are blessed to be part of the Plymouth community.
