JSC Thermally Modified Timber (TMT) Taxon is our
clearer grade thermally modified timber option, with
minimal natural rustic and textural detailing, has a soft,
even-grained appearance with minimal knots and a
variation of deeper chocolate tones making it a great
choice for a range of applications.
TMT Taxon is crafted using only heat and steam in the
thermal treatment process without the need for gluing or
lamination to provide a durable, single source timber that
not only looks great in a number of architectural styles
but will last for generations to come.
JSC TMT Taxon is incredibly stable and is able to be
coated in dark colours including black with a significant
reduction in dimensional movement over traditional
weatherboard species.
AVAILABLE PROFILES:
100mm, 150mm & 200mm profiles in vertical shiplap,
rusticated horizontal, vertical board & batten, bevel back
plus complementary battens and interior profiles to suit
