BMH Scaffolding have had a busy year at a number of exciting projects.
Here’s a selection of the great progress being made on their various sites.
Histon Road, Cambridge - SAC Construction
The site will be two blocks of student accommodation when completed.
Both have four boarded lifts to support all trades and were adapted for
brickwork and timber cladding details.
One block has been completely struck with the second block being very
close to full height.
Hemel Hempstead - VolkerFitzpatrick
These factory units for client have had all handrails completed to
floor slab levels for edge protection.
The stairwells have also had handrails installed team alongside
birdcage scaffolds so that all trades can complete work.
There are loading bays dotted about to floor levels and external
scaffold to gabion stone which retains the walls details to the
site boundary.
Project Einstein, Peterborough - TSL
The 93,000m2 site in Peterborough is nearing completion. Most of the
work included installing Haki access towers to all mezzanine floor levels
with handrails for edge protection, handrails to stairwells, loading bays to
floor levels for materials and having access scaffolds to areas that couldn’t
be accessed via Mobile Elevating Work Platforms.
Conduit Street, Leicester - Watkin Jones
The external scaffold on-site is now at full height to roof level, with seven
boarded lifts installed for all trades, whilst also adapted for brickwork detail
from the ground level upwards.
There is also one Haki access tower to all boarded lifts, with five double
loading bays in progress for ongoing brickwork.
Banbury Lane, Northampton
This huge housing project has a total of 34 plots to scaffold, and
the team have 16 plots at roof level. A further eight plots are also
currently in scaffold, so the project is approximately 75% complete.
