BUSY 2021 FOR PHOENIX WITH MANY
EXCITING CONTRACTS AWARDED
Phoenix are always hard at work behind the scenes, and that hasn’t
changed this year with many contracts awarded.
February saw the first contracts of the year, a Masonry and SFS package
at Glen Parva in Leicester for Lendlease and ceiling finishing at
DMS Whittington Barracks for Kier Construction.
April saw more projects roll in, starting with a traditional brick and blockwork
contract at the Dan Maskell Indoor Tennis Centre in Loughborough for
Bowmer & Kirkland, followed by an internal drylining, plastering and
masonry package for the Alfreton Park Community Special School for
Henry Brothers and our first venture into London on-site next to the Temple
Tube Station.
May continued the trend as three supply and fix masonry contracts were secured at
St Marylebone Bridge Special School in London worth £1.2 million for Galliford Try,
Caddington Senior Living Village in Luton for Willmott Dixon and Chiltern Hills
Academy 2 in Chesham for BAM Construction.
A further two contracts were awarded in June, both being masonry packages for
The Swanwick Hall School in Derbyshire for Bowmer & Kirkland and the Goole
Business Centre and Innovation Hub (pictured) for Willmott Dixon.
August saw Phoenix appointed by Clegg Construction to help build a 76-bed care home
in Market Harborough, with the development starting in September and set to last for
approximately 26-weeks.
