BCA’s 4/4/2 block, a six-period-perday system, includes three semesters
per academic year, allowing students:
BRIERCREST CHRISTIAN
ACADEMY (BCA)
Briercrest Christian Academy holds
associate status with Prairie South
School Division, and graduates meet all
provincial regulations to receive a
Saskatchewan High School Diploma.
BCA is also an integral part of
Briercrest College and Seminary. As a
small high school that is part of a much
larger institution, BCA students get
individual attention in small class sizes
but the facilities and opportunities of a
large school campus.
To complete the first semester
before Christmas;
To engage in an innovative third
semester;
To participate in a wider variety of
co-curricular activities and to take
Briercrest College Classes.
BCA’s goal is to nurture students so
that they will be the same in public as
they are in private, students who will
learn to build deep, meaningful
relationships that will be used to
sharpen each other. BCA delights in
excellence, bet they celebrate using the
arts and sport to produce young
women and men of character.
Qualifying grade 12 students can elect
to take college classes in their spare
periods. Many of Briercrest’s college
classes can be transferred to receiving
institutions across Canada and beyond.
With three provincially authorized
degrees, 18 additional BA programs,
and partnership agreements with the
University of Saskatchewan, Minot
State University and Sask Polytechnic,
Briercrest College offers transferrable
university courses in a Christian college
atmosphere.
RESIDENCE LIFE
BCA’s dorm program provides a
fantastic additional opportunity for
students to be part of a close-knit
community and form solid friendships
outside of the classroom. Living in the
dorm provides students with unique
learning and growth opportunities.
