DRESSING ROOMS
INDIVIDUAL PROGRESS &
TRACKING SYSTEM
We have two PHA dressing rooms
inside the Barkman arena with custom
stalls for our program. These dressing
rooms are conveniently located below
the workout facility, which is utilized
for warm ups and off ice training
sessions. There is a physiotherapy
room down the hall that is accessible
for preventative care for athletes and
fully serviced by Highland
Physiotherapy for games.
Prairie Hockey Academy is in the
process of providing an all inclusive
tracking system that fully encompasses
our student athletes' progress
throughout their year and time at PHA.
This tracking system will incorporate
many facets of the individuals
development: leadership skills, school
grades, fitness testing, on ice skills, etc.
This tracking system will provide a
standardized method of evaluation,
with the goal of providing feedback and
growth opportunities for our athletes.
PRAIRIE HOCKEY ACADEMY
FACILITIES
BARKMAN ARENA
Our home arena is the facility for all
our practices and home games. The
Barkman was built in 2009 and
facilitates our four Prairie Hockey
Academy teams, the Briercrest College
Hockey team and the surrounding
community. It is conveniently located
100 meters away from both our partner
high school, Briercrest Christian
Academy and the dorms/cafeteria.
The arena has seating/viewing capacity
of about 800 and has a workout facility
on the south end.
