COMMUNITY PARTNERS PROGRAMS
Since 2015, the Community Partners program has provided approximately 35,000 individuals each
year with $1 ticket vouchers. The program provides this near-free admission to families receiving
government assistance, as well as free general admission to all active-duty members and veterans
of the U.S. military, law enforcement, 昀椀re昀椀ghters, and all active medical professionals. In 2021, the
Museum launched an innovative expansion of the program to provide full-year, full-access memberships
to families who qualify for state or federal assistance through partnerships with more than 40
nonpro昀椀t organizations. These memberships encourage families to visit the Museum to embark on
STEM adventures repeatedly. Memberships are distributed to families who qualify through partner
organizations, such as For Oak Cliff, Uplift Education, North Texas Food Bank, the Mexican Consulate,
and Catholic Charities. At the end of the 昀椀scal year, the Museum had 3,200 active Community Partners
memberships and is working to increase that number continually. Community Partners’ families can
enjoy unlimited visits, access to members-only programming, newsletter communications throughout
the year, and much more. This program is changing the lives and futures of families all over North Texas.
TECH TRUCKS
The Museum’s TECH Trucks are mobile makerspaces that
navigate across North Texas year-round and are dedicated
to providing interactive STEM-based experiences focused on
skills such as creative problem-solving, iterative design, and
technological literacy. Our mobile makerspace educators are
experienced and energetic professionals passionate about
delivering high-quality STEM-based programs to audiences
of all ages. Hands-on activities cover a range of topics, from
coding exercises to rocket building and launching, allowing
participants to explore and discover their interests. The
TECH Trucks served more than 25,000 participants last year.
This program brings discovery directly to under-resourced
populations at community centers, libraries, parks, public
events, and out-of-school programs, providing science-based
experiences for students outside the walls of the Museum.
