the future STEM workforce,

inspiring children as they prepare
to live and work in a rapidly
evolving world. To keep up with
the pace of technological change
and to nurture creativity, the
beloved Moody Family Children’s
Museum will soon be transformed
— with the groundbreaking slated
to occur in January 2025.
The expansion, from a 6,250-square-foot area to
nearly 11,000 square feet, will realize a complete
transformation to deliver cutting-edge STEM
experiences re昀氀ective of the wonderful diversity of
the community in which we live. Driving this change
is popularity and ever-increasing demand, requiring
an expanded footprint and innovative updates to
improve the visitor experience.
The new space is being designed to stimulate
imagination, foster creativity, create wonderment,
and encourage discovery and exploration in an
innovative, open-world universe — sparking a
lifelong love of learning in STEM. This hall is the 昀椀rst
opportunity for children to form a relationship with
the Museum and “grow with Perot” as they engage in
fresh experiences and form new neural connections
while reaching developmental milestones.
