Sifiso and Sanele have experienced ups and downs in their own lives, and witnessed the
same with PeacePlayers and their community members. But they always chose to rise above
it. They are grateful for the impact PeacePlayers has had in their lives, which motivates
them to continue being a guiding force for the next generation. In their current roles Sanele
oversees Lamontville & Wentworth as an Area Coordinator while Sifiso oversees the overall
programme as the Programmes Manager.
As participants, PeacePlayers “provided an opportunity for us to come to town and have an
introduction to people from other places.” Sanele says. Now, Sifiso and Sanele have traveled
together to other countries through PeacePlayers, becoming local and global advocates for
peace. They will continue to share their learnings with their community from their career
and travel experiences.
