RE-ASSIGNED MINISTERS
INDUCTED

T
he South-Central
Presbytery (SCP) of the
Presbyterian Church of
Trinidad and Tobago
(PCTT) inducted Ministers to
the Point Fortin/Cedros and
Susamachar Pastoral Regions at
services held in their respective
regions recently.
Reverend Shirvan Siloch was
inducted to the Point Fortin/Cedros
Pastoral Region on 01 March 2020.
Lay Pastor Ivan Paul led in the
service at which Reverend Brenda
Bullock delivered the homily. The
Point Fortin/Cedros choir was
in attendance. Moderator of the
Synod, the Rt. Reverend Joy AbdulMohan brought greetings on behalf
of the Synod while Reverend
Anthony Rampersad spoke on
behalf of the Northern Presbytery
and Gerald Gunness on behalf of
the South Eastern Presbytery.
Minister of the La Romaine/Debe
Pastoral Region led in worship.
The homily was delivered by
Reverend Shirvan Siloch. The
Susamachar Presbyterian Church
Steel Orchestra led in a musical
interlude at the start of the service.
The Susamachar Acoustic Strings
offered two songs. Leonidus
Sammy sang, ‘You raised me up!’
South-Central Presbytery ViceChairperson, The Reverend Ria
Thompson-Jimdar conducted the
act of Induction at both services.
Moderator of the Synod, The
Rt. Reverend Joy Abdul-Mohan,
brought greetings on behalf of the
Synod. Reverend Jacob promised
to work with the Pastoral Region in
serving God’s people. The SouthCentral Presbytery wishes both
ministers the best in answering the
call to serve the people of God in
the respective Pastoral Regions.
In his response, Reverend Siloch
pledged his commitment to work
together with the region for further
growth and development.
On 09 August 2020 Reverend
Letra Jacob was inducted to the
Susamachar Pastoral Region.
