ABSORBENT PADS ARE MADE FROM POLYPROPYLENE FIBERS AND ARE THE MOST POPULAR FORM
OF ABSORBENTS.
The Pratt spill range offers various types of absorbent pads for different liquids and site applications. The most widely
used Absorbent Pads are General Purpose (grey), Oil & Fuel Only (white) and Hazchem (yellow).
Pads are great for spills on water or land, absorbing many
times their own weight in recovered liquid.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
PRATT SAFETY SYSTEMS
ABSORBENT PADS
STEP 1: Place suitable number of pads on spill for
immediate absorption.
STEP 2: Remove pads carefully, as all pads tend to
over saturate and will drip liquid.
STEP 3: Place a layer of Floor Sweep, or an extra pad,
in the bottom of the waste bag, to absorb any
free liquid.

General Purpose Pad colour coded
grey for universal liquid spill
absorption. Ideal for all liquid spills
with the exception of aggressive acids
or alkalis. For general industry and
non-industry applications.
Oil & Fuel Only Pad colour coded
white for hydrocarbon spill
absorption.
Oil & Fuel Only absorbents take on
board hydrocarbon liquids such as
fuel, petrol, diesel, oil, solvents.
Additionally, they are designed to
repel water making them ideal for oil
& fuel spill recovery on either land or
water. For general industry and nonindustry applications.
Hazchem Pad colour coded yellow
for hazchem liquid spill absorption.
Designed for acids, alkalis, coolants,
paints and oils and fuels and are made
from inert material which will not
react with any absorbed liquids. For
general industry and non-industry
applications.
