Australian and New Zealand Standards set the criteria and design procedures
to ensure goods and services consistently perform in the way they are intended.
Standards are set to maintain a quality benchmark, but Standards Certification takes
products to the highest level of quality assurance through independent auditing.

COMPLIANT SAFETY PRODUCTS
Manufacturer Standards compliance is a legal obligation that is not enforced or monitored by authorities
unless an incident occurs. Manufacturers that make Standards compliance claims are acknowledging that
their product meets the relevant Standard(s), according to them.
WHY STANDARDS COMPLIANCE IS NOT ENOUGH
The manufacturer holds no responsibility to test products on an ongoing basis to be able to state Standards
compliance. Taking into account manufacturing procedure variances from batch to batch, a product that
complies on launch may not necessarily still comply two years later if the product is not tested periodically.
BE AWARE
Some claims of Standards compliance may not be relevant to the Standard for your specioc industry or
application so make sure you know which Standard applies to your occupation.
CERTIFIED SAFETY PRODUCTS
All licensed manufacturers of Pro Choice Safety Gear Certioed products undergo frequent auditing by an
independent JAS-ANZ accredited Conformance Assessment Body (CAB), like SAI Global or Benchmark.
This ensures the relevant manufacturing processes & Standards criteria are maintained. Products are
then regularly batch tested to ensure performance requirements are constantly met. The CAB issues the
Certiocation and adds the product under license to their accreditation and schedule.
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU TRUST? COMPLIANT OR CERTIFIED?
Certioed products carry added value. Product quality is assured in accordance with Australian and New
Zealand Standards on regular basis by an independent body. Many companies state their product complies
to Australian and New Zealand Standards, but without third party Certiocation, you don9t really know!
How to know if your product is Certioed?
Look for the AS/ANZ accredited CAB logo with the license or identiocation number. Pro Choice Safety Gear can prove
Certiocation where applicable. Certiocation schedules are available upon request, just ask your Pro Choice Safety Gear
representative. Can you aford not to have standard certioed products on your worksite?
