LINQ Lifiting Rigging Catalogue - Flipbook - Page 10
A cost sensitive commercial quality chain block
designed for rugged and robust applications.
16
The Essential Chain Block (Commercial) series
includes a load chain stopper to prohibit load
chain lift height over extension.
2
Not a no name import label product from China.
17
Asbestos free brake and friction discs.
3
This is LINQ by brand and LINQ by design,
and is to our Chief Technical Officer’s
design requirements.
18
6 - 9 configuration double pawl for failsafe usage
in any orientation.
4
The Essential series meets AS1418.2 and EN-13157.
19
Double pawl and double guide rollers enhance
safety, reliability and performance.
5
Each batch is cycle tested to 1500 cycles at 110%
of Working Load Limit over at least 300mm of load
lift per cycle.
20
Heat treated, case hardened CNC cut gears and
ratchet parts, ensure high tolerance specs for
better longevity.
6
Each and every LINQ Essential Chain Block
(Commercial) is proof loaded at 150% of working
load limit over at least 300mm of load lift prior
to dispatch to our distributors.
21
All forged parts are mag-flux tested and submitted
to ultrasonic flaw detection after heat treatment
before assembly.
7
Calibrated black grade 80 20Mn load chain
to ISO3077 is standard.
22
Embossed and branded hand chain cover with
U and D arrow, for first time UP and DOWN
direction engagement.
8
Load chain is corrosion resistant through the
process of black electrophoresis meaning
a grease/oil-free chain giving a “clean
to work with” experience.
23
All block side covers are embossed with the LINQ
brand logo.
24
All hooks are embossed with the LINQ brand logo,
AS1418.2, tonnage and batch number.
25
Hand chain 5mm x 25mm with high gloss silver
galvanised finish.
26
Internal spring washer on all lock nuts
(no nylon locking that might become brittle in hot
environments over time).
27
Vertically Integrated LINQ production process
ensures real time quality control through
all processes.
28
All forging, stamping, CNC parts-and-gear
production, as well as chain production, powder
coating and heat treatment are all conducted
under one roof following strict LINQ QC processes
and LINQ supervision at our exclusive 160,000m 2
OEM factory.
29
Whilst LINQ Lifting Rigging is a new-comer
to the Australian and New Zealand market this
product is a culmination of over 20 years of design
collaboration with LINQ Chief Technical Officer
and our OEM factory whose joint collaborations
began in 1998.

All hooks have cast safety
latches with minimal side
load movement.

Traceability markings on load chain –
“Tri-marked with LINQ brand, G80 mark, batch
reference number’’.
3M and 6M lift heights but units can be supplied
with any lift height on request.
Load chain elongation is >17% for enhanced
safety in the event of inadvertent shock loading
(note the Essential range is not overload clutch
protected) the chain block will therefore lock and
hold if the load chain is dangerously overloaded
or shock loaded (>400% of WLL).
12
Bottom hook supplied with thrust bearing for
AS/NZS compliance as a standard feature.
13
All hooks have cast safety latches with minimal
side load movement.
14
The Essential Chain Block (Commercial)
is a 6-bearing design, giving even load spread,
and efficiency of internal parts movement, thereby
ensuring a long service life.
15
Sealed cage bearings, solid bush bearings and
sealed roller bearings are utilised to ensure
longevity and low service costs.
