The “secret” is the AirX™ shield. SAFEHIP® AirX™ hip protectors
are 100% textile all the way through which makes them 100%
breathable and much cooler to wear than hip protectors with
shields made of synthetic foams or with a hard plastic shell.
All models are easy to take on and off, are comfortable to wear
and invisible to others. We have designed SAFEHIP® AirX™
in different styles for different patients and a wide range of
different needs – from the very active user who is self reliant –
to the dependent geriatric patient in a nursing home. We have
used a high proportion of cotton in the pants to make them as
comfortable and as much like regular underwear as possible.
Also, as an added benefit, all of our pants are designed to act as
fixation pants to hold an incontinence pad in place securely.
