What Questions
Should I Be Asking?
There are no irrelevant questions. This is the life of
your loved one that we’re talking about. It’s important
that you leave no stone unturned, no question unasked.
Here are a few suggestions to use to compare different
senior living communities.
• How do you personalize the way you interact
with each resident?
• What kind of scheduled activities does your community
offer? When there aren’t scheduled activities, how do
you engage your residents throughout the day?
• Are there smiles and laughter throughout
your community?
• Can you explain your different levels of care?
What is the average level of care for your residents?
• What steps do you take in creating a resident’s
care plan that is based on their needs?
• How does your team adjust to residents’ changing needs?
• What other costs are there that we have not discussed?
