Fundraising Update
One of the most difficult aspects of advancing research within the Pain Relief Foundation
is that it does not receive any funding from central or local government, nor from official
health services or agencies. This lack of institutional financial support places the
responsibility of funding squarely on the shoulders of the foundation’s supporters. As a
result, the PRF relies entirely on the generosity of the public, with funding coming from a
variety of sources, including donations, gift aid, legacies, and appeals
Despite the challenges, the Pain Relief Foundation remains optimistic and profoundly
grateful for the unwavering support it receives. Donations from individual contributors—
ordinary people motivated by personal experiences or a desire to help—are the lifeblood
of the foundation. Many individuals understand that their contributions, no matter how
small, can collectively make a significant impact for which we are truly grateful.
Team Brokenback Mountain you have done us proud !!
Huge thank you to Mark and his pals, Toby, Angus, George and Matt , £1417.00 raised for
us to support ongoing research into chronic pain by taking part in a Tough Mudder.
This is made even more amazing as Mark suffers from chronic pain and although this
event caused him a lot of pain, it was more important for him to take part to help raise
awareness for those who suffer such as he has .
Well done you did it awesome team work!
